Este Iraniano a viver em Portugal desde os cinco anos, faz a sua estreia com o disco “Song of the New Heart”.
A revista francesa “Les Inrockuptibles” considera-o como um dos mais novos promissores artistas europeus.
Sem dúvida é um dos melhores “singers/songwriters” que apareceram a nível nacional nos últimos tempos.

A não perder.
Baseado na obra de Gabriel García Marquez, conta com a excelente participação desse grande camaleão do cinema, Javier Bardem, que depois da sua interpretação no filme “No Country for Old Men” o coloca entre os melhores actores da actualidade.
Quanto ao filme, uma simples história de amor… para quem leu o livro, sabe o que vai encontrar, para outros… Amor como já não se sente…

Há coisas assim…

No ano de 2005 estive com uns amigos em Paris…
A estadia foi muito curta mas ainda deu para ver umas coisas. Para alem de vermos aquilo que toda a gente vê, no tempo possível, entramos na Virgin Megastore.
A loja encontra-se nos Champs Élysées, um edifício antigo e muito bonito.
A loja é enorme, está claro que nos dirigimos logo para a secção de música, peguei em meia dúzia de cd´s para ouvir, entre eles estava “The Editors”, “The Back Room”, depois de ouvi-lo por alguns minutos, “bateu”.
Entretanto lançaram outro álbum que está rodar por aí, “An End Has A Start”.

Antony aparece em mais um contributo, desta vez no álbum dos “Hercules & Love Affair” depois das suas prestações com Bjork, Little Annie, CocoRosie e Michael Cashmore.
Mas desta vez temos música para dançar.
Está prevista a saída do novo álbum de Antony & The Johnsons, já com nome “The Crying Light” no final deste ano.
